Valuing workforce diversity...

Whether you realize it or not, your workplace is more diverse today than ever before. The labor pool is more diverse, the marketplace is more diverse, and the needs of your current and future employees are more diverse.

All of us are not quite there yet. We all hold onto old stereotypes, biases, and assumptions - and they get in the way of an inclusive and productive work environment.

We have been in the field of diversity and inclusion for over 20 years and what we have discovered is - we are all human - and humans behave pretty much the same way.

Valuing Workforce Diversity - VWD explores the benefits of a diverse organization while at the same time assists participants in understanding how they view themselves and others. This personal perspective has a dramatic effect on how people work.

The combination of these personal perspectives form an organizational perspective where potential and actual barriers to inclusion and success might be found.

VWD provides participants with strategies and tactics to address their personal as well as organizational perspective to ensure the workplace is inclusive.

Preventing sexual harassment...

Part of creating a workplace that is inclusive is the elimination of inappropriate behaviors. Sexual harassment has come to the forefront as a business issue not only because of the financial and legal liability, but harassment creates exclusion and exclusion creates turnover.

In recent years, federal and state laws have identified standards for training. Under some circumstances, all managers must be trained in the awareness and prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace. Other circumstances dictate that all employees must be trained as well.

We have developed programs to comply with all known state and federal statutes regarding the training of sexual harassment prevention. Our objective is to assist organizations to:

  • Comply with the law
  • Minimize their risk and exposure
  • Maximize a culture of inclusion

To accommodate the needs of our clients, we offer our Preventing Sexual Harassment (PSH) in two formats:

  • -day Classroom workshop for up to 25 participants
  • 2 + hour online workshop

Our classroom and online workshops meets all federal and state requirements for training. All of our compliance training is carefully reviewed by legal and instructional design experts. Updates are made as the laws change to ensure timely and accurate information is provided.

Fair Management Practices (FMP) provides managers with a fundamental understanding of employment law, its purpose, and its intended effect. FMP is recommended for all supervisors and managers in the organization. For your convenience, FMP is offered as both a classroom workshop and an online program.
